| Surrounded by panoramic water and cityscape views, the Boatshed offers an ideal venue for your wedding reception, ceremony or private function. An additional deck area between the Wellington Rowing Club and Boatshed can be booked for your ceremony or for guests to enjoy their first glass of champagne on arrival. A marquee can also be erected on the deck by Hiremaster.The Boatshed offers a perfect location for your wedding photographs with the historic building or the steps leading down to the lagoon as beautiful backgrounds.When you hire The Boatshed for a wedding or private function you have the venue from 11am on the day. The hire period extends through to 10am the following morning to allow for collection of any belongings or hireage from the previous night. Capacity for a seated meal is 200 people or 250 people for a cocktail function. We are happy to assist you with your planning and can provide advice and assistance with sourcing Musicians, Florists, Caterers and Theming Companies. | Wedding Experience at the Boatshed…..
